Gooey Ink Cursor Blob

Render [TEXT] in a heavy rounded lowercase as glossy black liquid ink sitting on warm bone-colored paper, with white highlights, a faint oil-slick sheen on the rims and a soft cast shadow. A blob of glossy vermilion ink with a short wobbly tail floats near the word, the two inks blending where they touch. At rest it drifts along the letters, merging into each one it touches with smooth bridges. On hover the blob follows the pointer with a springy lag and grows: letters swell toward it, fuse into it, and stretch into sticky strands when it pulls away, until the bridge thins and snaps back into the letter. Quick moves shed thin drips that slide down and dry away. A press makes the blob swell and drop a fat drip. On touch screens the blob follows the finger.
