Hanging String Letters

Hang the letters of [TEXT] from a wooden rail like a garland: each letter is cut from thick colored card (terracotta, mustard, navy, teal, sage) in a chunky high-contrast serif, hanging by a brass ring and a thin thread, all on one baseline, against a warm plaster wall with soft shadows. At rest a faint draft keeps them barely swaying and an invisible hand drifting past nudges a few. On hover, sweeping the pointer through the letters knocks them swinging in the direction of the swipe, harder for faster swipes; each letter also twists a little below its ring, and neighbors bump into each other and pass the swing along before settling within a few seconds. A press flicks the whole row like a gust. On touch screens a finger swipe does the same.
