Ink in Water

Film [TEXT] as ink dropped into a tank of dark water, shot macro against a near-black background. Several drops of vivid ink (magenta, amber, violet and cyan from left to right) plunge in from the top, leaving thin trails, and bloom into mushrooming vortex rings and billowing clouds with fine curling filaments. The turbulent pigment then slowly swirls together and condenses into an elegant high-contrast italic serif word, its edges still wisping and breathing in the current, with brighter dense cores and translucent outer veils. Tiny suspended particles drift, light falls softly from the surface above. After a hold, the letters unravel back into drifting smoke and the tank clears. Loop.
