Smoke Dissolve

Form [TEXT] out of smoke on a near-black background, in an elegant italic display serif. Pale wisps rise from below the frame, curling and folding like real fluid, and gradually swirl together until they settle into the crisp letters. Hold for a breath: the letters are soft and slightly translucent, backlit from above, with thin bright filaments and darker hollows inside, while delicate threads keep peeling off their tops and drifting upward. Then a gentle current stirs the smoke, the letters billow, stretch and break into turbulent curls that rise and thin out until nothing is left but faint haze; loop. Cool blue-gray shadows, warm white highlights, slow and hypnotic.
