Thermal Receipt Printout
A receipt-printer text animation: a thermal printer feeds a receipt line by line, with the word in big dot-matrix letters, a total and bars. Then the paper curls and is torn off. A tactile reveal for shops, launches, year-in-review and playful posts.
Prompt · replace [TEXT]
Tool-agnosticPrint [TEXT] on a thermal receipt. At the bottom of the frame sits a dark gray receipt printer with a slot and a serrated tear bar; off-white thermal paper feeds upward out of it in short jerky stepper-motor advances, one line at a time. Print a centered header, an order number and date, three itemized lines with prices, a dashed rule, then [TEXT] across the full paper width in big capital letters built from round black dots, another rule, a large TOTAL line, a block of bars and a thank-you line. Print density is slightly uneven. Let the top of the strip curl toward the viewer with soft shading and sway gently. Then jerk the paper sideways against the tear bar, rip it off with a zigzag edge and lift it out of frame; loop every 8 seconds.
